The California Breeze Organization was started in 1985 and has been one of the most competitive organizations in Northern California area for many years. Our organization is funded totally by our parents working Bingo at Florin Road Bingo Hall located at Florin Road & 24th Street in South Sacramento. A parent’s obligation is one Bingo every third week this amounts to 17 Bingo's a year. Our organization usually fields teams in all the age brackets with two teams at the 12U & 14U for a total of Seven Teams. Each team is given a team budget of $ 9,000.00 for summer, the 14/U/16/U are given an additional budget of $10,000 for the Colorado Fireworks. The 18/Gold team receives an additional $8000.00 for playing in the Gold Qualifiers and an additional $10,000.00 for the Colorado Fireworks. When we have teams qualifying for ASA Nationals each team will receive an additional budget for that trip. This year FOUR teams qualified for ASA Nationals and they split an additional $80,000.00 in funding. As you can see it takes a lot of hard work and money to keep this organization at the top. Our organizational budget is around $150,000.00. We also host a Crab Feed dinner in February to help with our fundraising efforts.During winter ball each team receives an additional budget of $5000.00. Our alumni have attended and are attending many major D-1 and D-2 colleges.
