                                                     How We Are Funded

The  California Breeze Organization was started in 1985 and has been one of the most competitive organization in the area for many years. Our organization is funded  totally by our parents working Bingo. We are owners of the Florin Road Bingo Hall, and our parents obligation is one Bingo every third Friday and this amounts to 17 Bingo's a year.  If your tired of spending $2000 to $3000 a summer for your daughter to play Competitive Softball this Organization is right for you. Our 18G-Mashburn team was fully sponsored by Easton Softball and received all their equipment needs from bats, gloves, bags and catching gear. The remaining teams purchased equipment and apparel from Easton at cost.

We will field teams in all the age brackets with Two 12U and Two 14U teams this year. In 2008 each team was given a team budget of $ 19,000.00 for Summer, the 16U & 18/Gold teams were given an additional budget of $10,000 for Colorado. The 18/U Gold  teams received an additional $8000.00 for playing Gold and exposure tournaments.

When we have teams qualifing for ASA Nationals each team will receive an additional budget for that trip. In 2008 Two teams have qualified for ASA Nationals and they received an additional $46,000.00 in funding. As you can see  it takes alot of hard work and money to keep this organization at the top. Our  organizational budget is around $250,000.00. We host several fundraisers each year.

Our alumni have attended and are attending many major D-1 and D-2 colleges.  If you feel you would like to have your daughter be part of an ORGANIZATION, one that has been around many years with a great name recognition with all the  College Coaches then please fill out the player try-out form. We have sent over 175 players on to College Softball, with their scholarships worth well over $2 Million Dollars.
