I checked the complexes today and all 3 complexes are ready to play. Sacramento Softball Complex, Freedom Park@McClellan, and Elk Grove Softball Complex look in good shape so if we don't get more rain we should be able to play all our games as scheduled.

We have a slight chance (40%) of sprinkles overnight so we will visit the complexes again tomorrow.

2010 Victory Pre-Season High School Softball Tournament

As we begin another school year, it is time to start thinking about the 20^th Annual Varsity/Junior Varsity Victory Pre-Season Softball Tournament. The 2009 tournament will again be held at the Sacramento,Elk Grove, McClellan Complexes, on March 11,12 & 13, 2010 and we would like to invite your teams to participate. As you know, this tournament has been a great success and I anticipate even greater things for this year’s tournament. This tournament is being co-hosted by Victory Custom Uniforms and Our Host Hotel is the Marriott Corporations Residence Inn and Courtyard Hotels

The tournament’s new format by C.I.F.’s definition of a tournament, states that this tournament, with the possibility of five (5) contests will equal five (5) contacts. Again for 2010 I am anticipating at least Forty (48) varsity and Thirty Two (32) junior varsity teams in each division which will guarantee each team a maximum of five games with a 1 ½ hr time limit. The entry fee for the 2010 tournament will be $400.00 per team. In case of a rainout a $100.00 fee will be charged to offset tournament expenses.

If you are planning to attend the 2010 Victory Pre-Season Softball Tournament, please complete the attached contract and return it ASAP, the entry fee must be received by February 1, 2010 so that I may reserve a spot for your team(s) in the tournament. Please mail us a copy of your contract with or without the check so we can reserve a spot for you to play in the tournament. If you wait to send in check with the entry fee, it may be too late. So please return the contacts signed ASAP, and then submit a copy with your check.
